Project Aims

From the previous section the aims of the project may be summarised as follows:

• to implement the clock noise model as proposed by ETSI in [4] and [5] for each of the clock types
• to verify that each model satisfies the standards by computing the relevant statistical properties for each clock type as described in [1]
• to then cascade the individual clock models to form a worst case chain of clocks known as a maximum reference chain defined in [3]
• to verify that the network standards for synchronisation quality from [3] are satisfied by the individual clocks
