Summary

In this chapter, material from sections 5.1 and 4.1.5 have been used to obtain bounds on the values of the gain elements K_f and K_w. These have been found to agree with published figures to a reasonable degree of accuracy. The asymptotic behaviour of the model has been examined in order to explain the shape of the wander masks. It was subsequently shown that the SEC TDEV mask is incompatible with the prescribed bandwidths. Experimental data was also presented in order to substantiate assumptions inherent in the model. The next chapter goes on to describe the method by which the model was implemented.
